Our Story . . .
Musky Mystique Resort is owned by Clint Peterson and Barb Duwe-Peterson. It has been in operation since the summer of 2005. In 2003, after decades of hunting and fishing in this area, Clint retired to pursue his lifelong dream of owning a small resort on Blaisdell Lake. Clint and Barb also have a residence in Elkader, Iowa. Elkader is located across the Mississippi River from Prairie du Chien, WI (home of a Cabela's). The Turkey River, which runs through Elkader, has some great trout, walleye and smallmouth bass fishing. |

Musky Mystique is a family resort where children 10 and under are free. You will find abundant recreational opportunities close at hand. Fish, boat, canoe the Chippewa River or hike and bike on the nearby trails. Make friends with the local wildlife and try out our paddleboat. Sandy beach swimming in Blue Gill Lake is only 5 miles away. Golf courses and ATV trails are also nearby. Look for more recreation and entertainment ideas and links below on this page. |

Clint's Musky World Records
Clint is a Division III Musky Hall of Fame World Record Holder in both the "catch" and the "release" categories. Needless to say, his favorite fishing is the mysterious musky. He is currently trying to break his own record fishing with live bait and NO HOOKS!
